The Ninety-Nines, Inc. is an international organization of licensed women pilots from 30 countries. On November 2, 1929, 99 women pilots founded the organization at Curtiss Field on Long Island, NY. Amelia Earhart was elected the first president. Members now are involved in all fields of aviation, but keep in mind Amelia's motto: "Fly for the fun of it!"
